Ihana Aiono has been selected by the West Los Angeles College Athletic Department, as our female Scholar Athlete for the month of February 2019. |

Ihana graduated from Torrance High School in 2013. Ihana is a member of the West LA Women’s Basketball Team. She is majoring in Nursing and is looking to transfer to a four-year university. While competing for West LA she has earned All-Tournament Awards twice this season, and has received First Team All-Conference for the 2018-2019 season. |
| Ihana states that her loved ones have been her biggest influences in her life, because everything she does, reminds her of what they have taught her growing up. Her advice to other West LA Student-Athletes is, “continue to push through the course and block out anyone or anything distracting you from chasing your dreams, then everything will be easy and you’ll turn those dreams into reality soon.” |
