De’Chanelle Goynes has been selected by the West Los Angeles College Athletic Department, as our female Scholar Athlete for the month of May 2019. De’Chanelle graduated from Westchester Enriched Science Magnet High School in 2017. s. She is a two-title conference champion in both the high jump, and triple jump. De’Chanelle is currently ranked 7th in SoCal for high jump and 6th in the triple jump. |
| De’Chanelle is a member of the West LA Women’s Track and Field Team. She is majoring in Business and is looking to transfer to a four-year university where she will double major in both Business and Art. |
While competing for West LA she has helped the Women’s Track and Field Team win Conference titles in both 2018 and 2019, and place 3rd in the SoCal Track and Field Championship |
