The Wildcats speed and pace proved to be too much for the Cerritos Falcons. Coming into the game with a 2-3 record, the Cerritos full court press slowed the Wildcats down in the first quarter. The Wildcats adjusted, settled down and led the entire game afterwards with an 18-15 1st quarter lead.

Aliyah Young led the charge with 12 pts of the 18 total points in the 1st quarter.

In the 2nd quarter the Wildcats defense stepped it up forcing 6 turnovers and held the Falcons to 5 2nd quarter points.

The Wildcats came out of halftime determined to take control of the tempo of the  game. Their full court press led to multiple transition baskets and jump started a run that the  Falcons had no answer for. The Wildcats finished the 3rd quarter with a 56-29 lead.

The 4th quarter started the same with the Wildcats shooting  66.7% from beyond the arc and Cheyanne Whitfield contributing 11 of the 23 points in the 4th.  The Wildcats won the Quarter 23-14 and won the game 79-43
