| Culver City, CA.| The West LA Wildcats women's soccer team earned their first win of the preseason against the Victor Valley College Rams. The Wildcats took a commanding three goal lead in the first half, on goals by Deisy Adame, Shelsin Chavez, and Diana Garcia. |

With a strong display of defense by the entire team, West LA was able to shut out Victor Valley in the second half, while adding three more goals- completing a hat trick for Chavez. Chavez also had an assist for WEST. Garcia added her second goal of the contest 55 minutes into the second half, giving WEST a 4-0 lead.
Goal Keeper, Natalie Flores stopped all 3 shots that came her way in the her 1st shutout off the season. The Wildcats will look to build their win streak with their next game on Friday at Allan Hancock College, game time is 3pm.
