Title: Assistant Coach

Alex Anguiano graduated from Pali High where he played third base, received the Coaches’ award and was named All Conference Honorable Mention.  He then obtained his AA degree from El Camino College where he also received the Coaches’ Award and All Conference Honorable Mention honors as their team’s catcher.  He continued his education and baseball career at Lynn University. 

After college he played baseball in the Semi Professional League as catcher-infielder-pitcher for the Tinseltown Terror for 4 years.  He continues to play baseball on a 25+ adult wood bat team that plays in the MSBL World Series each year in Arizona.

Currently, Alex is an instructor at Baseball Central where he has been employed for the past 17 years.  His clients consist of players that have gone on to play at a pro-ball level, all levels of college as well as high school, Pony and Little League students.    He also provides private field instruction for infielding and catching.

Alex has coached at Santa Monica High School, Palisades Charter High School and Serra High School-Gardena.  He is in third season of coaching with West LA College. 

Alex is also dad to two children, Ariela (12) and Marcelo (10).
