The Wildcats cross country teams collided with Western State foes once again Friday at the Oxnard Invitational held on Oxnard College's campus.

The host school, Oxnard edged West LA College for the Men's title, 31-50. Moorpark College took 3^rd with 57.

Once again the Wildcats were led by sophomores Baltazar Bucup (2nd, 21:42) and Armando Lozano (4^th, 21:55). 
Rounding out West's top 5 contingent was Raul Lopez (14^th, 22:55) and Max Jordan (15^th, 23:02) and Nathan Torres (22^nd 24:19).

West LA's women's team took fifth in the 7 team field, and was led by freshman Angelina Camello.  Moorpark outpaced Ventura for the women's title. 

The Southern California Preview Meet will take place next Friday at Cerritos Regional Park, with the women's 5,000-meter race at 10 am and the men's 4-mile race at 11 am.
